Teddy arrived in our first litter. We never could have imagined
where he would lead us. We really grew up with Teddy; learning
about showing in conformation and performance. We did all of his
training and handling in the breed ring with the exception of his 1st
point; from that point on he was shown in the Bred By Class. We
went on to handle him to his Grand Championship. Terry had started to
train and compete with him in obedience and agility. Just about
the time Teddy finished his Grand Championship, a good friend and Collie
breeder suggested Terry pursue Teddy's CCA Versatility. We really
had no idea what that was at the time; we discovered Teddy was almost
there! In a matter of a couple months Terry and Teddy worked and got
Teddy's herding title qualifying him for the Versatility Award! In
short order Teddy qualified for the Versatility Excellent Award!

Teddy is retired now and living in the lap of Collie luxury with Sharon and Robert. We get to see him often as Sharon and Robert only live 15 minutes away! He sleeps on their various beds throughout their house and is allowed on the furniture. He spends his days going on daily 3 mile walks, chasing squirrels and accompanying retired Sharon and Robert as they work in their spectacular garden with paths throughout; a dog paradise! According to Sharon and Robert, "Teddy is perfect and has never done anything wrong". We're happy for Teddy and his new 'parents'; a match made in Heaven! Teddy will be getting a little fuzzy "brother" soon (one of his great grand pups)! They'll be able to do squirrel patrol together.
